This Fair Use Policy (“Policy”) forms part of the Nanoshellnet Terms of Service and applies to all customers using our hosting services, including Shared Hosting, Reseller Hosting, WordPress Hosting, VPS, Cloud VPS, Dedicated Servers, and related services.

The purpose of this Policy is to ensure fair, stable, and reliable service for all customers by preventing excessive or abusive use of shared and network resources.

# 1. Purpose

Nanoshellnet is committed to providing reliable, high-performance hosting services. This Fair Use Policy helps ensure that all customers receive equal access to server and network resources while maintaining the stability, security, and performance of our infrastructure.

* CMS applications (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, etc.)
* Forums
* Web applications
* Email services associated with hosted websites

Normal website traffic and legitimate visitor growth are fully supported.

# 4. Resource Usage

Customers are expected to use server resources responsibly.

Excessive use of any of the following resources that negatively impacts other customers may require corrective action:

* CPU
* RAM
* Disk I/O
* Entry Processes (EP)
* MySQL/MariaDB usage
* Network bandwidth
* Inodes
* PHP workers

Where possible, Nanoshellnet will notify customers before applying restrictions and may recommend optimization or an upgrade to a more suitable hosting plan.

# 5. Shared Hosting Fair Use

Shared hosting resources are designed for normal website operations.

Shared hosting accounts must not be used for:

* File storage or cloud storage
* Backup repositories
* Video or audio streaming platforms
* Large download portals
* Public file-sharing services
* Continuous high-resource background processes
* Cryptocurrency mining
* Automated resource-intensive tasks

Accounts that consistently exceed normal shared hosting usage may be limited or required to upgrade.

VPS and Dedicated Server customers receive dedicated resources and have greater flexibility.

However, the following activities remain prohibited if they threaten the security or stability of our infrastructure:

* Network abuse
* Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks

Customers are responsible for securing and managing their own VPS or Dedicated Server unless a managed service has been purchased.

# 7. Proxy, VPN, and Tunneling Services

Proxy servers, VPN services, and encrypted tunneling applications are permitted only where they comply with all applicable laws and do not negatively impact our network.

Nanoshellnet reserves the right to investigate excessive bandwidth consumption or abusive network behavior.

If such services create an unreasonable impact on network performance or present a security risk, we may:

* Limit network throughput
* Request service optimization
* Require migration to a higher-capacity service
* Suspend or terminate the service where necessary

Hosting services intended primarily for large-scale media streaming are not permitted on Shared Hosting or Reseller Hosting plans.

Examples include:

* Video streaming platforms

Monitoring is performed solely for operational, security, and service quality purposes.
